Got a NSW Security Licence through Interstate Licence?

As of 16/09/2014, NSW Security Licensing and Enforcement Directorate (SLED) has made changes to the required training and assessment of security officers with current NSW Licence and a Certificate II in Security Operations from a non-SLED-Approved:

If the student attained the unit of competency with an RTO that is not a current Approved Organisation, they do not need to complete the learning or formative assessments for that unit, but must undertake and satisfactorily complete all of the course’s summative assessment tasks (including those relating to the unit of competency previously attained) during the course’s assessment workshop.

What does that mean for NSW Licensees with interstate qualifications?  They would need to bring their security and first aid certificates and NSW Security Licence in the relevant class and apply for sitting in a 12 hour exam workshop.  The workshop would consist of two written exams (covering communication and legislations) and practical assessments.
